New Mexico Local Government Law (NMLGL) is a full-service law firm dedicated to the needs of New Mexico's state and local governments. Although we are a relatively new firm, our attorneys have a combined total of more than 350 years' experience serving governments, defending lawsuits, and giving advice and counsel throughout the state.  We proudly serve as general counsel to counties, cities, towns, and villages across the state. Our litigation team defends local governments and the State of New Mexico against civil damage claims in courts at all levels. We provide services in property-tax law for New Mexico's County Assessors.  We also assist local governments and the State of New Mexico in many aspects of public employment law, in courts and administrative settings.
